Happy New Year 2007!!
GOODBYE 2006..... and WELCOME 2007!!
Today is the first day of a brand new year. A brand new start and also new resolutions for the new year. My resolutions for the new year?? Well... here's some:
- Do well in studies and graduate
- Earn more $$
- Get a good job after grad
Yesterday, on new year's eve, went for a little shopping in the afternoon. Then had steamboat at his place. Afterwhich, had a 2nd round of steamboat at Jason's place *gosh.. I must have put on more weight already..* Didn't eat much at Jason's place as we were already quite full. Didn't manage to stay long either as need to head off to another place to welcome the new year. It was packed at City Hall and Raffles Place. I guess all the ppl in Singapore had gathered there for the Countdown and the limelight: FIREWORKS! Of course, I didn't miss this as well. We had viewed the fireworks in the most beautiful view: in the middle of Singapore River! The river was filled with balloon-like objects floating on it and we could see the entire Esplanade, the bridge between Esplanade and One Fullerton, the expressway and marina south area, all packed with ppl! *gosh* Luckily, we were able to enjoy the splendid moment in comfort. The fireworks lasted for almost 10 minutes and really glad to be able to spend it with my precious one. It's a good start for a new year and I hope it will last throughout the year.
